    All CFL Grow Box Setup

    Greetings and Salutations,

This is my first grow after fucking up royally before this one. For those of you who didnt know, I was the dumbass who put 13 seeds into a giant pot and try to grow all of them. They grew but the grew together. When I say that I really mean together. They twisted around eachother and they were a complete waste. Moving forward tho.

This Log will contain my grow box. The lighting fixture I used and the diffrent cycles im using. I am so open for suggestions its not even funny. I know a lot of you guys are tired of reading these fourms where someone just started their first grow and they have not a clue what there doing so you feel like your supposed to help them, then you start getting upset cuz you feel like you answered these questions a million times so you eventually get to the point where you stop reading new posts and just start telling people t0 do more reading. Well ladies and gentleman. Here ya go again..lol.... Cuz im one of those new fuckers!!! ( I bet your madder than a skinhead watching the Jeffersons).!

What Im Using for a light source:

    I have one 42 watt cfl - 2700 Lumens:thumbsup:

    I have four 26 watt cfls's- 1250 Lumens

    and.....

I dam cheap grow light from Wal-Mart all in my grow box.:rastasmoke:

For a grow box I am using:

A cabinet that I torn from the wall in my garage ( I have the pics)

With 4 cpu fans in it running from one 12volt adapter.

I have one placed over the light fixture im using - I use that one to pull heat away from the bulbs as they sit right above my plant.

I have one in the lower left corner bringing in fresh air

I have one at the way top of my box to pull heat out of the box

And another one sitting on the floor of the box to help circulate air.

Now again, I know this is a shitty setup but its been working so far. I AM OPEN TO HELP PLEASE.

Posted below are some pics of the equipment ive been using.

I kinda cheated a little and waited till my plants were a little bigger before I decided to post pics and start the log. This is my plant two weeks after starting. My plan is to simply use this sam light setup the whole time to see what happens. I understand very little about the cycles that the plants go through and frankly. Im tired of reading all of these posts where there is conflicting information. So im just gonna let this girl go and see what happens. When I try to ask a question im either yelled at or I piss someone off so I decided to stop asking questions on this site and find a site where im not beaten for asking.

Anyways - These are the plants a few weeks after sprouting. Im trying to figure out if I should be using the 12/12 methos or if I should be using constant light. Im not sure.

They are starting to get kinda yellow around the edges and again, id have to read somewhere to find out what to do about that. Here are a couple pixs of them. If you guys know what that is. Please let me know.

Also im intresed in learning about the best nutes I could use and where to get them.

18 hours of light or 24 hours at their age would be optimum.

Looks like your plants are being burned by either the lights or nutrients. Interesting setup. I like the use of all the computer fans and whatnot. Neato.

Awesome!! Thanks for the feedback! Yea i know that yellow burning huh? It must be the lights because I dont use any nutes. I dont know enough or what ones to buy. But It could be the lights. Thanks

just try moving them a little further away. Do you have a temp gauge and are you monitoring the temperatures? Make sure there is good air circulation through there to give your plants a fighting chance. Like I said, the easiest way is to move your lights further away from the plants or the plants further away from the lights.

I'm under the impression from recent research that 24/0 would be optimal @ 3 weeks? Am I misled?

Some people swear by the 24/0 cycle. I have learned that 18/6 is just as good, plus in nature the marijuana plant gets at least a few hours dark each day. Why not save some electricity, and go for the 18/6, or 20/4 or even 22/2.
    peace
