So I feel like posting my two cents as I have the perfect solution for this type of situation and anybody can benefit from it.

Before I begin though I want to say that aluminum is much safer than plastic. Aluminum ionizes the air that passes it when it is heated up, so breathing a whole bunch of ionized air over a long time could present some health hazards. But plastic begins releasing toxic chemicals immediately upon being heated to half the temperature a flame outputs. I would advise strongly against ever using plastic for a bowl piece and if you can help it, the piece that attaches to the bowl when making makeshift bongs. However I use pens as downstems all the time.

Now on to the stealth smoking: So we know about the concept of a Spoof as my part of the world calls it. I made a longer lasting one using a paint roller.. fuzzy spoofs are awesome lol. But yea a couple dryer sheets on the end held with a rubber band, and alternating dryer sheets and toilet paper in the middle until a comfortable resistance has been attained. Its the most comfortable smoke-concealing device you will have ever made lol.

Now the process works the same no matter what kind of piece you have as long as you can cuff the bowl off after every hit and make sure NO SMOKE ESCAPES. For most people it burns too much and they cant handle it. That is why small one-hitters are perfect. They are small so the cherry doesnt get that hot, and you also dont have to hold the flame to the weed as long.. you can let the cherry do most of the work which destroys less THC. If you dont have a one hitter, take a piece of aluminum foil that is about 6 to 8 inches long and fold it in half longways, then roll it over your fingers chinese-trap style. Take a regular bic pen, insert it through the tube and squeeze the foil around the pen, leaving the bowl piece wide. Pinch and form the bowl how you want, Im sure most of you can figure out what to do from here. One time instead of collapsing the stem around a pen like I usually did, I just twisted the part between the stem and the bowl so that the stem had like 5 times the volume... it ended up hitting pretty damn good. Sometimes I used electric tape for semi-durable aluminum pieces but duct tape has a higher melting point. Taped-up aluminum pieces are like disposable tupperware... you can reuse it all you want but you arent really bummed out when you have to toss it.

But I digress (once again). So you smoke the weed, cuff the bowl off, hold it in and blow it out through the spoof. If you used at least 6 dryer sheets and put a few squares of toilet paper in there too for extra absorbancy, you shouldnt smell anything but dryer sheet. If you do, then you have unscented dryer sheets, and that sucks because Ive done that and it took me a month to figure out what was wrong lol.

The trick, however is to do all this in the bathroom where you know you wont be disturbed and you can flush toilets and run water and fans for noise distraction. When you are done, get a bottle of foot powder and squeeze a fine dust of powder throughout the room. That shit will swallow any odor immediately, thats what its made to do. Gold Bond powder and baby powder work great too. My parents questioned me one time why it smelled like foot powder and I told them it was because I was powdering my balls. They never questioned the smell of foot powder again. For the ladies I guess you could say you powdered your feet lol
