Same. Personally, I started smoking weed with a select few people out of the people I hang round with. Now, we openly smoked bongs, blunts, spliffs etc. together. However, I decided that I preferred to smoke 100% alone. Now, I'm called a stoner by most of my friends, and i've even had heated debates with friends about cannabis. My views on drugs are extremely strong, and there's no doubt that's led to conflict, but my friends still find cannabis a critical aspect of my life, irrelevant of the facts, they're correct.

My best friends accept my usage, and have even tried it themselves.

All in all, I wouldn't really like to be considered a 'stoner', but i wouldn't care much. :/
