Car problem
When I called the place I usually go to, the guy was like "OH, you're the one with the tie-dye seat covers, the CDs on the ceiling of your car and all them hippie stickers? I'll throw ya a 20% discount 'cause I like yer car"
I love mom and pop auto stores...

Entirely possible. I suspect if it were the pump, you would not be able to run it at all... if you can still open the throttle and get it to run, the pump is working.

what revs are you hitting when idleticking over? should be about 900.might just need a slight turn of a screw.when driveing at normal speeds what does it run like? as you said you was very near empty could be a small bit of shit causeing you the problem.

Normal speeds, it just makes a bit of noise (my exhaust has a hole in it, and my brother's gonna repair it for me) maybe a bit of rattling, but she's an older car- and with the RPM, I don't know, my car doesn't display RPM :P

Sounds like your fuel injectors possibly.

Try getting your fuel injectors cleaned first...if that doesn't work..probably is time for new ones.
Just my guess. But what do I know...
