Car problem
thx for the brick with the note attached... lemme see what it says... 'get back to work you slacker'...
seriously though, the email never came through? hm... i should try the brick thing, or maybe 2 cans on a string, since i am over my cell phone minutes for the month..stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . Car problem I have a 93 Toyota Tercell with 180,000 miles. Everytime I slow down to 2mph or to a stop, my engine idles and the check engine light goes on- I have to put my car in park and keep my foot lightly on the gas pedal at stoplights to keep it from turning off completely. I have an appt. tommorw at a local auto shop, but I know there are some gearheads on here who might be able to tell me what might be going on with my baby- price estimates, anyone? Rating: 5

I'm having car trouble too... in the coolant...
I have a 94 honda accord with 150,00 miles, I was driving home and my check engine light came on... I look at the engine temp,, and my motor is just cookin'... smokin' hot...all the way up..
Thank god I was close to my home...Popped the hood...coolant dripping.. The radiator blew.. Thank god no other damage was made to the motor itself.
I can install a new radiator myself for about 50$ shipped on ebay for my model...needs oil too..
The honda has been good too me I just need to start treating her right...

Yes Banana definitely keep using this shop, and steer friends there too. Don't wanna end up losing him to the fuckin big name shops. All those little mom and pop shops are like that, when we had our jetta the shop we took it to the owner was happy to see one of it's age in such nice shape he gave us discounts (also he was the only one with reasonable prices so we went there). Good to hear the car is running good, the jetta we had had 234,000 miles on it and then my brother and I got t-boned by a bitch in her suv who was most likely talking on her damn phone and totaled it
(don't talk on the phone and drive please!) We're lucky, had we been 2 feet further into the intersection she would've slammed right into my brother's door and things could have been very bad. (she was doin ~40 mph when she hit us, she ran a stop sign)
