Zandor does a several-part series on "Preparing your garden for spring" in his podcast The Grow Report I think they are in the 30s...like podcast numbers 30-35 or something. You can look at The Grow Report or Dopefiend.co.uk: The Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast Network for the descriptions and download all of them. In those podcasts, he describes exactly how to set up and maintain your own worm bed for your own personal outdoor OR indoor garden.

When you make that bed, you can produce your own worm castings and collect them. You will also produce a pure worm tea byproduct plus you can make more with the worm castings and use this on/in your soil. He goes through the entire process. It is very informative. If considering using worm castings, I highly recommend listening to these podcasts.
