Can you describe the feeling of stoned?
time slows down, waves of euphoria, you giggly, cottonmouth/dry throat. Mood and setting has a large affect on your high, too.
But when you're high, you'll know.

Time and distance perception changes, also, I feel numb but totally relaxed at the same time.

Can you describe the feeling of stoned?
clouded, creative, active, motionless, exhausted, enerjectic, thinking, being, grounded, floating, macro, micro, aware, pindrop, stroke elephant, pet lion, contend with ocean, peace, put-right, smell of roses, desire for nice thing to eat, happy, perfection, clarity, attention, shapes, detail, birds are singing, eat!
Those are a few words that describe or are related to my current high; feeling and focusing on all at once.[align=center][SIZE=\"2\"]:rastasmoke: 8 Potted Gro:rastasmoke:

Can you describe the feeling of stoned?
This is the best description I've heard so far. I was actually thinking about this before I read the thread, and I was trying to put my thoughts into words (wasn't working). Thank you for being so succinct!

I get really focussed on whatever I'm doing. This music is so good. My mouth is so dry. That gatorade is so refreshing. I am so high. That light is so bright. You guys are so cool. This music is just getting better. Hotboxing is so fun. That cop is so annoying. We are so screwed. etc
Story: Last night we were hotboxing at 1am at a local park. But parks close at dusk, so a copper showed up. Naturally we started to freak out, because the situation was So Intense and we were all high as fuck. He took everyone's ID and went back to the blue car. We all thought we were going to get written up. He was taking a long time. Then he comes back, and asks "so none of you guys are 18?" at which point we all respectfully said something like "no sir, my birthday is 7 July 1987 and I'm 19 sir" and he was just like "oh. I must be getting old. I see, you're 18 too? OK. Well, just so you know, the park closes at sunset because sometimes we have problems with criminal activity. have a nice night." WTF? We had stopped smoking like 5 minutes before he showed up, so it's IMPOSSIBLE for him to not smell the green on our breaths. He spent like 5 minutes sitting in his cop car staring at our licenses and trying to work out our birthdays and ages in his head or something? Through the entire ordeal, I was freaking out (I was in the driver's seat). I was SURE I was going to get straight up busted by this guy. But he kindly told us that sometimes bad things happen in dark parks, so we should get out of there. It was SO surreal. He didn't write us up. He didn't ask permission to search the car. hell, I've met complete strangers at starbux who are nosier (and smarter) than this cop. At least he was nice

Good description, but the only problem is that it's a tad different for everyone; so the truth is, it is truly indescribable. But you did describe it very well for the general effects

For me, the first hit gives a fuzzy-headed feeling, and everything just "feels alright." After the next few hits, everything seems brighter, but at the same time, kind of dim. When I smoke a whole bowl, my vision shifts and everything looks very surreal, kind of dreamy, and fake. Also, sometimes it seems like I'm looking through a wide-screen (like in the movies). When I'm stoned, I just can't feel my body, and I can't think complex thoughts.
Basically, when you're stoned, it's like a wave of numbing-energy that flows through you. It also is dependent on the strain and species... sativa for the head high, indica for the body stone. Sativas have a much more complex, up high. If you're not experienced, sativa strains could make one paranoid.
But yes, the general effect of all cannabis is that things become kind of surreal, interesting, and funny. Pure indicas often have a lethargic, and narcotic-like stoned feeling. Your body becomes numb, a buzzing... fuzzy forehead, and what-not.:stoned:blaze the haze for daze
Embrace the grace of the fine herb.
