First Grow *Afghan*Okay so i have a 100% germination rate and i placed the beans in 1.5 inch Rockwool cubes and and put the lights down over the dome. Now I am concerned though because my veg cabinet is made of particle board because it was a dresser i gutted and it seems to be getting pretty hot even with the black plastic door down but not velcrowed...i dont have a fan in there thats why its open. but im wondering if i should velcro it shut and keep it hot or leave it the way it is? Other than that everything has been good. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

First Grow *Afghan*you need to get some pc fans or some type of exhaust. that will help to keep your cab cool.

as far as your babies, they need to be warm, but not hot. 80-85 is acceptable for a couple of days, but you'll need to get it down in the 70's once they start growing.

for now, i'd say leave it open.

First Grow *Afghan*Some new growth today...sprouts are just barely starting to show out of the RW cubes, so within the next few days they will be in the bubbler buckets. Pretty excited to finally get everything going!

First Grow *Afghan*Seems that the roots are growing faster then the first set of leaves? well pre leaves. which is probably not a bad thing but they are just now starting to show out of the top of the cube...is this normal for them to take a while or am i doing something wrong? the cubes are saturated with water and i mist the dome when i wake up and when i get home from work.

First Grow *Afghan*You don't want them to stay saturated or else they will rot on you. Let them dry out a bit
