    My first cannabis/tobacco joint.

I'm not a joint smoker. In my opinion, it wastes too much bud and it takes quite a bit of time to get to the level I want to be at, compared to a pipe or bong.

However, I'm not a person to say 'no' to the occasional joint, as I like to mix things up every once in a while.

It started with me finding a few papers underneath my PS2, while I was moving it to another spot. They must have been there at least a year. Getting back on track, I took a paper and figured I'll roll a joint. Unfortunately, I had no weed left. A quick call to my dealer fixed that up though (I'll post some pics in the picture forum once I get my camera back) anyway, I asked my dealer for a cig (I don't smoke cigarettes) and he gave me one. Like I said, I'll mix thing up once in a while, and this is something new.

So I rolled the joint and head out for a smoke. As I began smoking, I noticed the taste was a lot different, and after my first inhale I felt a weird dizzy high. I then realized that it's just the tobacco doing that. I continued smoking, and the taste was a lot harsher than with a pure joint. I finished the joint in 7-8 minutes.

When I was peaking, I noticed that I wanted to be higher, but didn't feel like smoking because my throat was a little ruffed up from the tobacco.

My conclusion, if I have to smoke joints, they will be pure from now on, as mixing with tobacco burned my throat, tasted awful and the high wasn't as good.

...and no, it didn't burn any slower than usual.

    My first cannabis/tobacco joint.

The only time I ever mix tobacco with weed is to put at the very bottom of a pipe to make sure no really finely grinded/broke up weed gets sucked through. I just put a little pinch in there to stop it up.

    My first cannabis/tobacco joint.

im from UK, and it's normal to mix with bacci. In fact it's pretty rare to roll a pure weed joint.

I had one the other night because i had no tobacco and i could only smoke like 3/4ths of it. I agree though, it is harsher with tobacco.

As a tip, i never use cig bacci, because that's really harsh n nasty, especially if you're not a cig smoker (im not a cig smoker)

rolling bacci is a lot nicer. I normally only use Drum blue, but i get a lot of abuse for that because nearly everyone i know prefers golden V in a spliff.

There is definately an art to rolling with tobacco in a spliff though. it takes a lot of skill and a lot of lil tricks you need to know (e.g. using layers, poking down right etc.)

Only time i use tobacco in joints is when i need a tiny bit of filler cause of the lack of weed. if you get me. id rather smoke weed and cigarettes separate though.

in studies its shown that you actually get the most THC from joints, because there is less filtration however when you smoke through a bong you usually lose a very small amount of smoke whereas if you suck at rolling joints (you said you never roll them and noone is good at rolling without some practice) you lose alot of smoke. SO in conclusion joints would get you higher if you were a better roller, but getting back to the point (im baked).

Im sorta similar to you, i love joints, however i dont really like cigs, i hate dip, and spliffs (weed and tobacco or what u smoked) arent my favorite either. For me, its the fact that i dont really like nicotine highs. Sometimes cigs just get me feeling a little good, but id rather have a joint .

now i've never rolled a mixed joint, but i've smoked weed and cigarettes together before so i imagine this has the same effect, and it always makes my head get the dizzy spins, but i kinda like the feeling
