Help with choosing a car for a 16 year-old.

Option #1

1. Repairs on a manual tranny are cheaper.
2. The kid probably does not need the extra power of the v6
3. Repairs and maintenance on a v6 are higher.
4. A Honda Accord with 89000 miles is in its infancy. I have a 93 with 89000 miles and is running STRONG
5. That Honda will last till 189,000 (all these people who say its on its way out dont know to maintain a vehicle)
6. If you get the coupe, take out the speakers
7. Good Luck

Takes this man advice he is speaking the truth those hondas will last a long time even without good maintenance.

I have a choice between 1. 2002 Honda Accord Ex Coupe with a manual transmission. 89,000 miles, $8000 2. 2002 Honda Accord Ex V6 Sedan Automatic 105,000 miles from my mom. Price, dont worry about it too much, basically it comes down to v6? or manual? Rating: 5
