Time, a phobia?
I've been wondering alot lately about how time keeps everybody in order. If I'm doing something I probably shouldn't be or something to where I have to be back or at a place at a certain time, I catch myself always looking and being worried about time. its not exactly paranoia because I keep it to myself, but I always catch myself being overwhelmed by the phobia of getting in trouble because of suspicion of me not being on time so I'm doing something wrong. But even when I'm doing nothing wrong I am still paying severely to much attention towards it. I feel like if I need to be on time I have to make sure by being at the certain place 5 minutes early or something. Anybody know what I mean?

Time, a phobia?
I don't know if it is a "phobia", It could be more like a OCD thing it sounds like, although the are sort of the same thing, I think... I have a intence phobia of ketcup, when I'm around it I feel this feeling of intense anxiety, and I feel fear. But I also sometimes think that I have the phobia as some sort of wierd form of OCD, because I feel like it's caused because of a controll thing. Like I have to controll the fact that ketchup can't be near me. I need to make sure it's a certain number of plates away or I won't eat. Who knows though.
Sorry about your time phobia though.
Who else has a wierd phobia?

Time, a phobia?
Its strange when I have nothing to do all day, I'm perfectly fine but when I go to school and skip a class or lunch, or when I'm out buying bud or something, I just am so self-conscious of being late and getting into trouble. I feel its my parents lack of trust in me, because when I got my job, and my parents are letting me have more freedom, I feel less worried about time, but when I'm out with my brother we can go do whatever and be back whenever, with out checking-in with them. I know its not entirely controlling me at times, but I can't help it at times.

Time, a phobia?
although inconvenient, it is a good trait in todays society to be on time...I am always on time...it is one of the things in life that I am known for...most of the people that I know are perpetually late..it does drive me crazy when people are over 15 minutes late.

Time, a phobia?
When i think about this it pisses me of, i mean once time has passed unless what you done has left a mark or made impact on your life it was a waste of time. i mean tonight for example, ive smoked a 8th watched tele with my mates n bin rnd a mates house but it wont make annnnnnny difference to me in the morning so i might aswell have saved my money and done nothing...get what i mean?
This sort of thing makes me think what is the point of life, i mean were all just spending 75+ years doing pointless things whilst were waiting to die.
Time fucks with my head :wtf:

Time, a phobia?
I hate the time when my alarm goes off, but I don't think that I fear it per se.

Time, a phobia?
yeah, i totally know what you mean about the time thing...i have a phobia almost just like that with time. i also have a phobia of falling. not a phobia of heights...but a phobia of falling, as in tripping over something i left in the middle of the floor and falling down. yeah. really weird. and i have this irrational phobia of birds. birds. i didn't realize that phobia until i was in nyc and surrounded by pigeons...good time to realize my phobia, huh? but birds totally freak me out...i'm always scared they're going to peck my eyes out (i'm not kidding, and no, i've never seen hitchcock's "the birds", but i have read it).
