I love rice pilaf as a side,,,almost more than potatoes,,,you can create so much with it...

I like rice a lot more than potatoes. Grew up on rice, coming from Louisiana.

This was saffron rice with some lentils and spices and lemon flavoring. Based on an Indian dish I do, but I tried to pass it off as Greek. Dinner was good. And the latest ladyfriend was lovely. Wish he'd hold onto this one. But I have a feeling she'll be a passing summer thing. She goes to school in Austin.
