The dark night of a loved ones death
memories of them stole my breath
tear drops come from ones own eye
to hit the ground when loved ones die
face the demons in my mind
emotionally crucified
by my own means of selfishness
I pray for them, eternal bliss
to see them smile to see them cry
is no more when loved ones die
extinguished is the spark of life
twas extinguished with a knife
the blade ran cold upon the skin
this hard feeling of deadly sin
to much to bare to much to hold
to break the souls physical mold
life is just one great big lie
but 'tis no more when loved ones die
for there soul to be released
only hope for them, theres peace
to know that we will never play
never, not another day.
