Nah, it was Red Deer in Alberta. It's not a huge city at about 80,000, I mean compared to the US, that's a town, but it was a nasty problem. A shelter was about 15 minute walk from downtown, and they'd go to pretty much the only soup kitchen in the city. They'd all hang out down there, all tweaked up. Downtown was where the drugs were, the soup kitchens, outdoor parks with firepits and roofing...everything was down there, including a few methodone clinics.

Me and my buddy were walking down there once and this chick asked me for a smoke. I don't smoke ciggs., so I said no, and she flipped on me threatening to smack me in the face.

From what I've been told though, the city is now actually doing something to stop or slow down the homelessness there. They just got 1 million dollars over a 2 year span to help the homeless. Good to see as walking down there was a total wasteland. Tweakers everywhere.

Hello everyone. I would stay and go on chat but todays a busy day - it's hot and sunny and it's the main changer over day. Work to do sadly lol. And some woman earlier looked at me - i think she knew it was a joint in my hand.

Lol LIP, but i agree with you anyway things are getting a lot worse and its only going to continue, the new generation is coming in and its gonna get worse and worse but at least by the time it gets to the point where everyone carrys a gun on them and go on mad rampages.. we will be dead by then

police in this country don't care about black on black violence. They don't even care that much about black kids getting killed. This is the same for asians too. In the years I have grown up in East London, I have noticed that when a white kid is killed, they pull out a full investigation, all the works and start arresting and convicting.

However

When a black or asian kid is killed they don't put in as much effort into it.

e.g Stephen Lawrence, Damilola Taylor and the 12 kids killed in south london in 3 months.

I know this isn't the case with all racial murders, but it the majority of these cases follow the same path.

Just a point.
