I've just read the wiki thing and i cant belive it lol-

"Eaten raw, these peppers are also known to cause dizziness, numbness of hands and cheeks, and severe heartburn."

I didnt get any of that - it was just bloody hot, nearly had my eyes watering but i had some yogurt drink next to me incase it got too much lol.

They've made some new chilli sause - but it comes with it's own warning coz some bloke tried it and ended up dying from it.

I also dislike sweet fruits- raisins OMG nastiness - in curry with the exception of dried papaya, which is great when it cooks back to softness. I like the sweet-hot effect.

I don't personally like the combination of tabasco sauce and Indian food, except for the chipotle one if it's a red meat hot curry, just for the smoke flavor. Other than that, either the fresh green chilies, or a lot of hot paprika does well, or Vietnamese chili-garlic paste. That stuff if you mix it with coconut cream makes a great quick sauce base, but HOT OMG FUCKING GIMME A RAW POTATO hot.

LOL - I've had a Phal once with mates, we all had to order it 2 days in advance - hottest curry the place does. IT's basically chilli sause - theres no real flavour because of the amount of heat. But damn, i love heat. I like all the spicy stuff - mexican food and the like. When i was 13 at school i bough in alot of green chillis, well, more like 4 large ones and i kept challanging people to eat them - and no one could. I ended up eating them - LOL- for some reason that memory has really stuck with me. That's probably the only thing i've got to be proud of from school LOL.

And i've got all my ingrdients for my Toad in the hole 2moro, and im going to try it with the egg whites whizzed up like you suggested - i'll make sure i post how it turns out. Either way, the ingrdients are there and so is the flavour! :rastasmoke:

the only thing i can think of re: the Toad is not to over-beat the egg whites... like, not into PEAKS because i think the chemical structure changes slightly.... but close...

lol how about a thread of DELICIOUS foods with nasty names? heh heh...
