Should I smoke this kief or save it?

I have no bud left, and I'm home alone for the next few hours. I could call my dealer and get him to come here, but that will take at least 1 hour. I think I'm running low on cash too.

Anyway, I have about half a bowl of kief and I'm not sure if I should smoke it or save it for next time.

What would you suggest? I don't care if I don't get completely ripped from it, I just want to know if it's worth smoking for a decent buzz.

Kief is most likely very potent. It burns easily, and gets sucked down easily. Quick to snap, but holy bejesus it can put you on your ass! Choose wisely.

Haha. You could have pressed it, too. It would also cause it to burn slower .
Also, I'm curious... since kief is basically unpressed hash, would hot knifing it be more efficient? I'd think so, but maybe I'm wrong.

Hot knifing wouldn't be more efficient, maybe easier to control how fast the kif burns but in the end you smoke up the same amount of material. Pressing would definitely help, and if you can resist smoking it collecting kif can be a life saver if you can start stockpiling grams of it, I always regret taking that desperate single hit of a little bit of kif when I could have saved up more and pressed/cooked it

However, if you hot-knife correctly, you lose minimal amount of smoke. It is more efficient, I believe. With a pipe you lose a bunch of smoke after you take a hit. So technically you wouldn't be smoking the same amount. You'd get more smoke from the kief using the hot knives.
