Cannabis and Dreams! (Outdoor Grow Log 2007)
This year I am doing a little crop so I can fulfill my personal cannabis consumption needs hopefully for a long time. I plan on making a variety of extracts as well such as honey oil and bubble hash. If I yield bigger than I need I will give some away and vacuum seal/bury the rest for the future. Most of all I am doing this grow for fun. I am starting late so I will need more plants than otherwise however the smaller plants should be good from a stealth perspective.
Below is some summarized information on this years grow.
Strains
Indica Dominant
Golden Skunk
Early Misty
MasterKush
Sativa Dominant
Durban Poison
Thai Rain
Growing Medium
Sunshine Mix All purpose
Composted Manure (cow and sheep)
Black Gold
Natural Soil (relatively good quality)
I have various mixes consisting of some or all of the above.
Today May 30th I have finally received my Durban Poison and Early Misty. Germination began immediately. I am still awaiting Masterkush.
At present I have some Golden Skunk and Thai rain just beginning to break the soil!
Wish me luck. The Green Reaper Reviewed by The Green Reaper on . Cannabis and Dreams! Like I said I dont need alot. I have a numbe of spots with 5-10 plants so as long as I end up with enough to make a nice little brick top quality bubble hash, a couple vials of honey oil and a couple ouces of each variety I will be satisfied. Any extra is going to be given away to buddies and buried for future consumption. Like they say, plant one for the animals, one for the rippers and one for yourself. :smokin:

I am planning on taking precautions for animals. I was thinking of mothballs, possibly some sort of urine type thing and perhaps even fishing line in one spot. I also have mini greenhouses for the babies to help protect against insects. Im trying to decide on an insecticide as well.
Any recommendations?Any posts made by me are purely fictional in nature and by no means is anything I say to be taken seriously. I do not grow or condone the growing of anything not legal. I've never seen or smoke thai rain. But I have smoked purple thai and it is DEFINATLY one of my top 3 favorites. I LOVE the sativas.... As far as animals go, all you'll really have to worry about is rabbits and deer (or maybe moose in canada). Just pee on a tree somewhere near your plot everytime you visit and leave some hairs around your plant. Animals hate our smell. I'm not sure why you'd need mothballs... You can cut the bottoms out of milk jugs and use those as mini green houses. I'll protect baby seedlings from cold, drought and pests.

Update
I brought out 8 plants to their final location. Put 4 in the ground and left 4 in their cups. I put up little mini greenhouses on all 8. Unfortunetly 1 of the babies got a bend in the stem. I buried up to the break so hopefully shes ok.
I checked out an alternative route to another spot i have been preping and it looks like i may abandon it due to garbage near by ect. I actually was allmost lost in the woods for awhile right near nightfall but finally found the trail recovered my bike and just got out before dark and a huge downpour.
Hopefully the babies survived the violent rainfall. Lots more work ahead of me to get these ladies in the ground. My main spot is a bitch to get into and I can only bring a backpack of whatever in each time. There have been some germination issues with my durban poison and a few early mistys. Hopefully they pop soon. I should also receive my masterkush seeds anytime now:smokin:
Cant wait till my babies get established past this crucial stage so all i have to do is water, fert and enjoy! I saw a deer and rabbit today near a spot I may try some fishing line at one of the small patches.
Pictures will some soon...Any posts made by me are purely fictional in nature and by no means is anything I say to be taken seriously. I do not grow or condone the growing of anything not legal.
