mason jar is the way to go,but leave the lid off for a short time every few days, thats what i do and if it starts to get too dry i add some fresh mj leaf to help, but if you cant get any leaf im sure there must be something you can use, like when tobacco gets too dry in my tin i use a bit of potato to moistion.

Freezing it would be ok, as long as it's completely dry. It'll make your trichomes rock hard though, so they'll fall off pretty easily.

Theres no point freezing it, just store it in a mason jar, DRY, in the dark. You can store it for as long as you like really.

No point fussing about with freezing it when theres no need.

As everyone is saying, the freezer isn't necessary... I don't think it would help. Keep the bud sealed in the mason jar in a cool, dark place and it should be good for a while (1-2 months easily). Just make sure the jar is airtight and check if your bud got moldy before you smoke it!

It'll keep longer than 2 months - try 6. I smoked some 6 month old bud from a mate 2 saturdays ago and it was perfect. It was very dry though - but i prefer it nice a dry. Burns alot better. But yeah - 6 months and it was still top notch.

The Jars work great, and Occassionally I will put one end of a Q-Tip that has moisture.(VERY LITTLE) And I will let that sit for 2 to 3 hours in the jar and IT'S just Like Perfect,:thumbsup: not to moist not to dry.

rather not do the freezer why risk anything to happen to them buds just put them in a cool dark place but the jars is the best to put them in

A year ago, I remember seeing a study that said that cannabinoids can keep their potency, the best, for up to two years if stored in a dark place at room temperature.

About 18 months ago I was pondering the same question and I wanted to vacuum seal but not in plastic so I started searching the web and all I could find was blogs of people saying "I wish there were glass vacuum..... to store my...."
