Ha, no - true red. It just glimmers under sunlight, which is why it looks lighter in the shooting pics. Here's a pic I took recently to show my boyfriend the earrings I made (you guys like them?), and then another that really shows the color:

Nice!! St. Patty's day is always so much fun, its like my second favorite holiday. Always great times.
