What is the proper way to TOP a plant.

I have a white widow that is getting too tall for the grow space. Can I TOP the plant to stop it getting any taller and if so, what is the proper way of doing this.

    Cheers

It doesnt stop it from getting taller it just slows growth. It will give another bud cola. It will make it branch more. If you would still like to know. You just pinch off the top set of leaves with scissors or finger nails.
