man Its fkn Amazing the shit I learn off this site ,Ive been smokin weed for over 15 years and never even knew there was indica and sativa,until I joined cann .com a year ago nearly. Im still having trouble Telling the difference,in Aus bud is bud .The weed I grow is just from seeds that I collect off friends and shit.So how do you tell man if I showed u A close up pic of a bud could u tell the difference?,or do you have to smoke it to tell?

I am leaning toward the Indica myself as Sativa's seem to cause paranoia in me...

well smoking it would tell you the easy way and by looking at it i myself cant know for sure if its indica or sativa but usually indicas are alot more dense. :hippy:

Yea skink i agree with that it depends tho cause i get good highs from sativa to i just noticed that it doesnt give me as comfortable a high.

i like my sativas, inidicas seem to make me more sleepy, where sativas seem to make me more alert and awake to the world

Sativa for me, I don't like the couch lock high very much, although sometimes it's nice!

Indica is not slang for marijuana, but one of the three species of marijuana; Sativa, Indica, and Reduralis. Sativa is more of a skinny, tall, lanky, and less yielding plant that produces a mind high. Whereas Indica is more of a small, broad, and usually a higher yielding plant that gives you a couchlock body high. Rederalis isn't grown due to its small amount of THC but is sometimes crossed with other species to shorten flowering time.
