geonagual Reviewed by geonagual on . Anyone ever climb Mt Whitney? I'm leaving tomorrow morning to drive up to Lake Tahoe. I'm going to hike to about 10,500ft elevation on Mt. Rose and set up camp on the 1st. I am going to get aclimatized and used to the high elevation then on the 7th I am driving down to Mt Whitney and climb it on the 8th and 9th, spending the night about 7/11 miles up the mountain. Has anyone hiked Mt Whitney? Anyone ever been there? Rating: 5
