Don't feed the trolls

There's been a lot of trolling on this board lately - some little kids with several different user names, just playing stupid-ass troll games like towards the end of this thread here.

There are apparently six or so user names that are trolls. It's easy to spot them - they have all registered in the last month, have very few posts, yet have one or two green rep boxes. (One of the trolls had one post and two rep boxes.)

If you continue to feed the trolls, they will keep coming back, and they will ruin this board. As it is now, wading through the troll posts is burdomsome and making this forum boring.

Note to Mods - your control panel has a function to block any IP address. Maybe you should use it to keep the kiddies off this forum.

I see what you mean, the little kid in that thread has a serious attitude problem, definitely one for the BAN can - doesn't take too much class to bad-mouth Stinky, when she's trying to help - (especially if you were too damned lazy to do a little simple research BEFORE growing, and then expect someone to walk you thru it) :jointsmile:

Frank - That's what this troll does. You can see the pattern in all of his posts. He comes on and asks a question requiring a detailed answer that he could have discovered with research, then drags it on and on with stupid questions.

Stinky really pisses-off this particular troll. (He mouthed off to her earlier this month and was banned under a different user name.) It's funny because the little asshole troll can't take Stinky's directness and always ends up throwing insults at her.

Look I saw some of this guys q's and there is an easy way to deal with them....ignore them. I'd have been gone after the first rude comment and I seriously think Stinky can take care of herself. And being young certainly doesn't have a monopoly on not being able either to listen or say thank you either. Rude non-grateful people are everywhere.

we dont keep kids off the forums, it is a longstanding rule...

as for the posts, i have seen worse, and as usual, stink closed the deal...

if you have a problem with a post in the future, please post with a link in feedback, and i or any of the other mods will be happy to deal with it straight away.....thanks for the heads up, and i will take care of this...

ps...i will use that button on kids as well as adults..plenty of adults around here that act a fool their own damn selves....the kids here dont have exclusivity to this right...

i would just like to add, before i close this one out, that i checked the account of sublimebudsmoker and i cant find any evidence he has been banned under another name.....just a little food for thought...we shouldnt say things if we arent positive or have proof that they are true, without a doubt, no matter how they appear....
