I can't. I am desperate to get my name out a little on myspace as my daily plays have dropped to zero, but I can't. I just can't search random people who might like my stuff and add them for the sake of viral marketing . It sounds extreme, but I really just can't do it. I feel like a leech, I can't fucking stand it when people add me for the sake of getting their name out, but how else are you supposed to do it?

God I hate this website.

I might be in the same boat soon. Me and a few friend's are going to start recording songs, and with Myspace these days...it seems like a perfect marketing solution...even mainstream artists use it to promote new songs, but then the thing is actually what you are saying...you gotta get your name and shit out there first...the hard part of course. So I dunno, can't help you now, but maybe soon...I'm haven't ventured into the Myspace thing yet, so I dunno even how it works..but will be setting one up soon.

If you want to make a name for yourself, don't go on myspace to see another no-name.

I like your stuff, I think it's excellent. When I hear it, I can tell you have great tastes in music. I don't find about music on myspace, it's byword of mouth. I don't listen to any source of media when it comes to music because it's all bullshit in my opinion.

You gotta go live somehow with that stuff. You could recreate it on a keyboard.

The way I see it... If your music is good enough, and you want to become well known, and you put in the work, it will happen. The problem with that theory is there are literally millions of artists who can tick all three of those boxes and still aren't recognised..

Man, just keep at it. I haven't listened to your tracks yet, I'm just about to.. I'll let you know what I think, if you want some feedback. Anyway, yeah, just keep at it and if it doesn't happen, don't sweat it too much..

I'm not determined to become an idol of electronic music and sell a million records, that shit just doesn't fly nowadays unless your a genius, and even then, maybe.
I have my own ambitions, but I just like to get my stuff out there to people that may genuinely enjoy it, otherwise, what's the point y'know? :thumbsup:
