Rockwool to soil
my clones are currently in rockwool cubes. but when i transfer them to soil pots can i just plant the cube directly into the soil, or is there some kind of method of removing the rockwool?

You can do it but I would suggest that you keep as much of the rockwool plug above the soil surface as possible. Well, like maybe plant it to only half its depth.
I had a problem with some clones I got that had been rooted in RW and then planted in soil, but too deep, and they ended up developing rot around the base of the stem and dying. You just want the RW to be able to dry out pretty well.
