The least someone can do instead of ending their life, is start a new one somewhere else. no matter what if you don't like where you are at, you will be happy somewhere else. And don't say you can't afford it, because if it was the big of a stress on your life it shouldn't matter. . .
Money is an issue for plenty of people on this forum. Think how many teenagers, kids, adults, and students on here are still living at home. Working a part time job etc. You can't run away on a few pennies. Living is expensive as you may know, and if you do then surely you can understand why moving away isn't an option. Then lets not forget issues you can't run away from such as pyschological scarring. If people are so taumented by life that they feel the need to take their life then so be it. I'd rather a person who's suffering severely, kill themselves (if that's how the feel they should do things) than sit through life, depressed, upset, scared, and confused.
