OK, I dried the 'Daddy's Girls' for about 4 days, and now have them curing in Mason jars ... not nearly finished curing, but done enough to test ... while growing, she had a very mild lemon-scent, just delicious aroma, very nice ... after this bit of curing, the aroma has changed to a 'sour-grapefruit', maybe even 'pineapple' in there ... dry-toking is just delicious ... it's funny for me to make comments like this, because I have always been more concerned with effect, rather than taste ... she weighed out at 18 grams of dried 'bud only' ... I am happy with that small yield, because she grew very far away from the lamp (about 36") :wtf: ... she was an after-thought, placed between my TALL Willie Nelsons, and circumstances prevented getting closer ... I'm very confident she will yield very well, when I can dedicate the cabinet to her ... now, the important part ... I placed a small piece of bud in my bong, one match, one toke (still a couple tokes left in the bowl, didn't use it up) ... really UP, clear, colorful, no anxiety, just feelin' good, no lethargy, like a good sativa ... surprisingly, it also seems to be soothing my arthritis, which usually requires an indica ... that was about an hour ago, and I am real anxious to finish my Willies, so I can get more 'Daddy's Girl' in my cabinet ... 'nuff said

that's a nice looking bud you have right there. reaper do you ever get wilting on your plants with your higher temps? Do you think it reduces your yield at all as well?

I have had a high-temp situation for quite some time (years ?? ) ... I have never visibly seen any negative effects, but I'm often told, the plants would do better around the suggested 75 degrees fahrenheit ... if it was in my backyard right now, it would be a steady 105 ! ... they tell me Thailand, VietNam, Hawaii, Afghanistan, etc.. all have pretty warm climates ... damned Mother Nature just don't know nuthin' 'bout no growin' ... after my present plants finish, I am going to build a new ceiling for my cabinet, and re-do my ventilation setup, should get me down where I belong ... problem is, I am presently venting back into my adjoining room ... the new setup will vent it directly outside, for my neighbors to enjoy :S3:... but, honestly, I'm not doing it for the plants, I'm doing it for ME, tired of heating my house with a 400-watt sodium :smokin:

Yes it's certainly not 75 degrees in the places you mentioned where they do alot of growing. I believe I read or (or heard) that if you keep the roots damp they can do pretty well in hotter enviroments. Do you use mylar?

yup, Mylar, but I'm looking at other options, gonna do a reflectivity test with my light meter ... the Mylar is just such a pain in the ass to keep clean ... I like foliar-feeding occasionally, and Mylar just shows every drop of overspray ... I will gladly trade a bit of reflectivity ,to get something less tedious to maintain ... I'm gonna check out a white, 'pebbled' fiberglass sheet, (used for shower stalls, etc.), sold at Home Depot, and see how well it reflects ... :smokin:

Well pop my buttons! X-C and I were just discussing that.....please do let us know about the temps. I'm thinking about changing my mylar too so I'll be very interested to see what you guys end up with. My big issue with it these days is the heat.....
