bubbler makes ozone?

Hey, if I have LIP saying he MIGHT think he knows what I'm talking about, then maybe I'm getting somewhere. You don't just suck air, you suck the flame from your lighter through the bubbler. Just a bit faster air flow than in normal hit is required. I taste and smell ozone directly after I stop, and seems like I'm hearing a zapping sound. I guess, somehow, this is making some static electricity within the bubbler. Soooo, whatever. Try it, believe it, or not, it's just weird.

It is a smell, or more of a change of smell in the air? Almost as though the air has changed [just in that little spot]? Like it;s almost got lighter?

I'm only smelling and tasting it for a second or so, then it's gone. So, it's an odor coming straight from the pipe as far as I've observed. I tried doing this in a very dark room, and looking for static in the bubbler reservoir, but saw nothing. I'm sure there's just some basic physics that I should know, explaining this situation, but, I'm just a dummy. Anyways, I don't want to experiment with it anymore, knowing that excess ozone can be a bad thing for your body.

ozone is a very unstable, super charged oxygen molecule usually made up of 3 oxygen atoms(O3). fire, water, and hard sucking does not make ozone. it has to be some kind of residue your burning.

Cleaned with boiling water repeatedly, toothpick, and a q-tip. I know what ozone smells like, and it's being created in VERY small ammounts, somehow. It's a bubbler with water, no weed. Just air, fire, water, glass, and ozone. Don't say it's impossible without a real argument with some facts, or without trying it yourself.

yep, just a complete lie, because I know lies make me cool, you got me.....i'm not 12. if it's not ozone, then, it's ions, like that one guy said about after when lightning strikes. I was always told that smell was ozone, but ions sounds likely, because I've smelled a room with an ion generator, and one with ozone generator, very similar, if not the same odor.

Then why doesn't someone just make ozone to fix our atmosphere?

because it breaks down into o2 which is a much more natural state for the oxygen molecules.

my uncle actually built himself a ton of o3 gens for his jacuzzi.

they use it for everything nowdays, it gets rid of cigarette smoke and inhaling small amounts is supposed to be beneficial (don't do it unless you know what small amounts are, could be 1 part per million or 1000 ppm. it will make you way sick if you get too much, i got a bit too much one time and puked like ive never puked before)

I slept so hard in chemistry class. Our teacher was a good man. We didn't get along at first but we became good buddies. He passed away this year to a heart attack. If I had some green I'd burn it for you man, then you could tell me everything about it.
