Thats only what I heard.

it's called PEEP or positive-end expiratory pressure. it recruits alveoli from your dead space and forces them open.

its a concept of lung physiology that is used in intensive care units (ICUs) to help get oxygen into the blood in lungs that are very old or sick.

some high genius also figured out it works for thc. or maybe some even higher genius figured out it worked for thc, then invented a mechanical icu ventilator thinking it worked for oxygen too. or maybe i'm high.

This is pretty retarded. Good weed makes you cough. Coughing doesn't do anything on its own. Now what about the effect of burping up smoke?

burping up smoke removes it from your stomach. to burp you have to increase your intrathoracic pressure (you have to bear down a little, like you're going #2) and that will have a similar effect to coughing.

this explanation i'm not as sure about though.
