Triploid refers to a genetic condition where the plant has an extra set of chromasomes. Nor is it a polyploid which is a similar extra chromasomal mutation. (I have to leave for work soon, so I may have misspelled a few words- and I don't have time to correct it) Anyway- run a search and learn the difference!

What you have is whorled phyllotaxy - it just happens sometimes. The good news is that they produce more branches which = more buds. The bad news is that they are often males, for some reason. If it's a female of good quality, I'd clone it for the heck of it. - Granny:hippy:
