should trimming be dried out b4 making Hash??

I tossed my trimming right into the freezer afterwards
and was wondering should I dry them out now to make hash
or can I just make it now?
I'll be using the ice water method and blending it all together

eerm! as far as i no its better to dry them as the drying causes the acidic trichrome crystals to turn psychoactive.

i would highly recommend NOT making extraction type hash. you should already have enough "good buds" to smoke until your next harvest.

1.) real hash is pure trichomes shaked off the plant and presssed into bricks (not chemicals, and very pure) this is essentially better than smoking buds as it is only the trichomes. (a large brick of keef essentially)

2.) the "extraction" type hash extracts not only thc but also all the tar and crap you don't want. essentially you're smoking leaf extract. it's just kind of nasty in my opnion.

    * if you can't shake the plants and collecty the keef then i wouldn't bother with hash.

just my advice for a clean and less gheto lifestyle

Yes, dry your trim before freezing it and this will increase yield.

This may be true if you are using a harsh solvent like isopropyl alcohol but the cold water method is pretty much "crap free."

This is essentially what you are doing with cold water extraction except your yields are way higher.

I wouldn't agree, it would be much better to make hash out of the trim leaves, rather than waste them, and Cold water extraction is the method being used Jack, so harsh leaf tar and chemicals are not even an issue.

since they were frozen fresh id use them that way, (never made it, lots of reading) but suposedly you will get the taste of the green plant in your hash as compaired to drying first.
