No shit, Bin Laden still wants to attack us, even though we've been repeatedly told the mastermind to September 11th is all but gone, unworthy of any effort to catch him?
(03-14) 04:00 PDT Washington -- President Bush declared Osama bin Laden all but vanquished yesterday, saying the al Qaeda leader -- dead or alive -- no longer poses a serious threat to America.
"We haven't heard from him in a long time," Bush told reporters at the White House. "I truly am not that concerned about him."
This lack of concern has existed from the beginning, way back when W first recieved reports that Bin Laden was determined to strike the US. That negligence allowed us to be attacked in the first place, but did we REALLY do anything about it? We invaded afghanistan, but failed to provide enough troops and equipment to capture the terrorist mastermind. Post Tora Bora the US had a new war to worry about, and Bin Laden seemed to fade.
