hey ladies. I had a question. It seems that when I go out to party at clubs or wherever, if I find a girl we usually go back to my place or hers. but my problem is by the time we actually get back there I have been drinking and partying for a while, and I smell and am really sweaty. I usually shower before I go out but that doesn't do me much justice. should I shower before we get into it? or do girls not really care? orrr.

I have also noticed that some girls can have the same problem, and it really decreases my sexual experience. I just wanted to know if this is the same way with girls. thanks!

Some girls care a lot about that sort of thing, and you must be a guy who does, too, if you find it can diminish your pleasure if you encounter the same thing in a girl. Maybe consider showering together as part of the preamble to hitting the sack?

Sweat per se isn't a big turnoff for me. I sorta like it when my husband smells "manly," but I also know him real well. It'd probably be totally different with a stranger. You definitely want to believe a relatively unfamiliar person you're about to become intimate with is real clean!

Like birdgirl said, you could shower together. For me yes it is a big turn off. Just last week I picked my man up from his basketball game and when we went back to his place he told me he felt gross and wanted to shower, I let him get clean for a minute or two, then I decided to join him... But even if she is a girl you just met, you should just take a shower for 5 min b4 you go at it, waiting 5 min for a guy to take a shower would be worth us having nice clean good smelling sex.

do you wear cologne and does that not make much of a difference? maybe try a different brand of deodorant or anti-persperent? (sry i cant spell)
i'm a guy, and i know that i definitely don't like being sweaty before sex. if we're at my place and i'm afraid i might smell bad, i put on more deodorant right before...

Pneumonia isnt from being cold, it's an infection. Much like a cold, you cant catch a cold from being cold. Hypothermia is from being cold. Infact, i got hypothermia when i was 14 in air cadets on a shooting range - it was FREEZING - but i was at a disused airfield in the winter, so it was extremly windy.

Erm, i think this is still the thread about sweat? If so, my ex didnt care - familiar sex is always good coz washin isnt a problem.

nah its not my antipersprent (SP?). I get overheated pretty fast, especially when I have been drinking.

hey Fissle, if you think you smell chances are you smell worse, always take a shower either together or on your own
