I am very busy these next couple days and will get about 3 hours of sleep after being up for 48 hours. Then I will be up for another twenty some hours after that.

High school graduation was last night (Whoo hoo!), and now the parties begin. All night party was last night (put on by the school), partying until 4am tonight, then at 7am I have to get up and go tubing down a salt river.

Hours currently awake: 37
Hours to go: 11-12

I have been drinking plenty of fluids (water), eating a healthy meal every 5 hours or so, and have had one 5 Hour Energy [B vitamins, amino acids, around 50mg caffeine (same as a cup of coffee)].

Can anyone offer me any advice on what I can do to reduce the bad effects of sleep deprivation? I am fine mentally, but I can't help but think that this is really bad for my body. I was wondering if anyone had any tips from personal experiences and such as the web is kinda lacking on good info about this subject. I am staying away from caffeine and sugars as they put you up, but then bring you down hard.

Thank you for any help. I am leaving in about 45 minutes, so any quick help is greatly appreciated.

ps. Power naps (10-15min naps) don't work very well for me as once I go to sleep, sound won't wake me up. I slept through a fire alarm going off in school.
