    exposing roots to light?

bout 2 days ago I bought some fish blood and bone shit so I put it in one of my plants and it said to mix in with the soil, I got a fork and done this but I thing I damaged some of the roots near the surface and exposed them to 1 day of light.

Now the plants older leaves and some new ones are shriveling up and curling upwards

was this because of exposure to light? just so I don't make the same mistake twice

    Thanks

Nope it is because you gave them way too much fertilizer, that stuff needs to either be diluted, or mixed in at a much lower rate to the soil before you pot-up your plants. Fish emulsion, using it straight, I only use about a tablespoon per 3 gallons of soil, mix it really well, let it sit, and then mix it again before putting plants in it, and even then , they are large, old plants that can really take the 'heat'.
You now need to flush out your soil very well- and when you use organics in the future, apply them at a much lower rate and kinda get a feel for what the plants can handle.
