When I was younger (not so long ago) we never had cell phones(sob) if you wanted to talk to someone you had to find them, we therefore never had phone bills, life was much simpler and we had more money for lifes essentials ie. weed!
This could be an idea for a thread, cell phones good or bad and have they ever caused you any grief or perhaps saved your life.

I've got pay as you go so i havnt got to worry about debts. Although it has a funny way of running out of credit when i need it.

I dont really use it much though.

I spent a total of 600 bucks texting my boyfriend in two months. He had sprint, I had verizon and the fuckers charged me a shitload even though I have unlimited texting. I'm slowwwwly paying that bill off. It's usually way under 100 bucks.

I've been a bad bad girl...
My cell phone bills have been hitting the $300 mark regularly. I have stupid sprint (for almost 9 years now and I've NEVER gotten a free phone outta those bastards) and it seems everyone else in the world has cingular... my contract is up in a month... mmmmmm free in-network calling, see you then!
On the up side, I don't have a home phone, cable TV, or internet at my house, so that's my only communications bill. PHEW!

It is isnt it lol. I find it easier to ring someone and have a proper conversation - i also think it works out cheaper [i dunno about that though]

I am not sure about that..

I have only had this one for a couple days..I am not liking the intrusion on my freedom already...Maybe I will accidently drop this thing in the toilet after my minutes expire. LOL
