Nutrition Deficiency -- I think iron? NEWBIE I NEED HELP

i've attached 3 photos of my plants. At first they were doing fine but the growth is now stunted. the lower leaves are turning yellow and falling off so i added a fertilizer (15-15-15). I think i overfertilized which caused some of the leaf edges to burn. Regardless of the fertilizer, the soil has perlite, sand, peat moss, and a little bit bird manure. It is very spongy and seems fine, but the plants won't un-stunt their growth and the leaves continue turning yellow despite the fertilizer. Any ideas what i should do? this is my first time growing indoors

    Hey pouyan,

Have you added any lime to your soil mix? Peat tends to be acidic as does bird doo. You might have a pH issue causing your nutrient problem.

Try running Ph'd water through the soil or just regular tap water will do, if the plant changes its character then that's your problem. If the plant gets worse then you will want to feed but flush before that so you get a better idea of what the problem is. Maybe there is somebody around who can give a specfic diagnosis but that's what i would.

if the nutes hurt the plant more then stop them if u haven't...also have u checked the ph of the runoff on the plant or the ph of your water...this info would be helpful...if you can't check the ph then i agree u should flush the plants with water til the runoff is clear and see what happens...hope it helps...had a similar problem related to ph....i flushed randomly without checking the ph and things worsened...a ph meter is extremely helpful and in my opinion one of the most underated pieces of equipment one considers when growing

Flush the shit out of your mix.
Chicken manure is very 'hot' and VERY high in Nitrogen, explaining the very dark, almost bluish leaves with burned tips.
Also, peat moss is very acidic and you may see lockouts from that if you did not lime, but ATM your main problem is overfertilization... the fert you are using isn't properly balanced for cannabis, look up cannabis-specific ferts and try to find something that mimics them, or just buy one.

i originally started with tap water but the leaves started turning yellow so i started letting the water sit for 24 hours before i watered the plants. That wasn't helping so i figured it was a nutrient deficiency and added fert to the water. I'm gonna PH test the plants today and post the results. Also what exactly does "flushing" mean? is it just watering the shit out of the plants? And how do i take a ph test, should i add some soil to regular water and test it or should i test the runoff?

Test the runoff after letting it sit for 10-15 minutes
