first grow getting going: bubba kush, maybe others

i'm a med patient in socal

my med delivery guy has some clones, among them bubba kush which he says is the best stuff he's ever had, and i get some really fantastic trainwreck, master kush (my fav.) and og kush from him

$20 for a rooted female clone, so not bad

i have to stay under 6 plants so i'm trying to decide whether i will grow one or two strains; eventually, i want another mother, a sativa dominant, so that i have something nice for the daytime as opposed to the kush which is for the evening for me, an hour or two before bed (got to love getting stoned, chilling, and then drifting off to sleep, it's the best )

he also has white widow for $15 and i wonder if the high would be different than the bubba kush? i imagine it would, but still indica dominant, and i don't think i want two indica dominant moms when i can only have 6 plants

he may have other clones so if i can get a heavy sativa i may get two clones

anyway, they'll be on the patio for a little bit while i get some cabinets together in the garage

going to be organic soil grow; my first time; wish my luck

being a med patient is fantastic but can still be dangerous; can't get careless and don't want to get the neighbors suspicious; got to keep it on the DL


oh, btw, thought i'd mention: the first time i smoked weed was a couple weeks ago, after i got the scrip; i've never done it before; i'll tell ya that it has helped me; i have chronic lyme disease, fybromyalga etc. insomnia, depression; it's helped with all of the pain and helped me enjoy life more not take things too seriously

anyway, this plants is a great thing, and i love it but i sure as hell can't keep paying for co-op bud; $70 an eighth? yikes; it's fantastic stuff; a tiny little bowl gets me blazed since i'm a newbie, but still

so i grow will flower under a 250w hps and veg under cfl's for now, perhaps some t5ho in the future; cabs will be in the garage so i'll need to get some good cooling to keep things cool; gonna get some nice inline fans for exhaust and put it on the side at the level of the hps so should do well

ok, on the issue of wanting a sativa-dominant UP high mother plant: if i can't find a suitable clone, what about seeds? the c99xnl was intriguing to me and i hear it's mostly UP but with the NL i'm not sure

what i really want, since i'll have the heavy narcotic kush, is i want a very UP high, doesn't have to be terribly powerful; something i can function on would be good

if i can get a trainwreck clone i might get one since i've enjoyed that, but it's still pretty heavy stuff

anyway, if y'all know clones in socal that are sativa dominant, yet don't grow too large, or seeds, i'm curious
