Does it matter what lighter you use..

Bic lighters all the way. You can use torch lighters, but you don't use it the same way you do a bic, you have to tap the bowl and hit it. Otherwise you're just torching your bud.

just make sure you dont get a childproof one.. some of those things you have to flip a switch, push a button, flip it around and say the magic word and it still wont work.

you might get it to work the first time, but after u get hi your just gonna end up looking at the lighter wishing u would have got a regular one.

Im confused, where is all the love for clippers? I thought they were stoner lighters? Not only are they cheap reliable and refillable, but you get the added bonus of the removable flint holder thingy (I just call it a pokey) which comes in handy for tidying up roaches.

Tastes wise, if Im in the caring enough mindset, I will normaly use a match, obviously wait till the sulphury bit is burnt and its the wood thats going, but most of the time Im too high to care

My mate always used to use a zippo, I never liked the taste myself. I normally use a clipper. I've often wondered what gas is best for your lungs though.

I've got Zippos, but i'd never concicder using it for weed. I've just got em for show [what they're made for - to look cool lighting a cig]

Not sure but i assumed the gas that didnt burn instantly evapourated instantly. I know for a fact there was a large thread about weather or not you inhale gas when using [any] lighter.
