Does it matter what lighter you use..

seriously. i love all my superstitious friends who wont use white lighters. i explained to one of them that the wrapped ones with silly designs are all white underneath, and that it is probably the reason for their bad luck and they just give me their lighters.

what, might i ask, is the logic behind the superstition? i've never heard of this, also I have a white bic on hand...lol
