bics douse the weed in chemicals, thus the 2nd and 3rd hits taste gross. jet lighters burn cleaner and hotter but also leave some chemicals on the herb. ideally you want to take a magnifying glass to your bowl and burn it with that; that way you get all the taste and no harmful bi-products. Plus the magnifying glass sometimes vapes the weed if you move it around in the right manner.

I don't have that kind of time...nor position of the sun where cars wouldn't be whizzing past me while I'm trying to spark a bowl with a magnifying glass.

Plus I'd probably end up burning myself.

I used to like using a standard black BIC, but now I use crickets. They're far more reliable to me, and the flame doesnt' blow out as easily.

Just dont use a zippo for weed - the petrol will ruin the taste.

My mate always used to use a zippo, I never liked the taste myself. I normally use a clipper. I've often wondered what gas is best for your lungs though.

just make sure you dont get a childproof one.. some of those things you have to flip a switch, push a button, flip it around and say the magic word and it still wont work. you might get it to work the first time, but after u get hi your just gonna end up looking at the lighter wishing u would have got a regular one.
