    Cloning and Strains

After extensive Research, I have found very little on a strains ability to clone. With very little out there on it, I doubt anyone knows the easiest strain to clone, but those of you veteran grows could be kind enough to let use novice growers know which strains Clone quickly and or easily.

The most I have found on the subject was a general statement saying that some indicas will not clone at all, while some Sativas cuttings are so quick to root that you could get away with just sticking them in the ground. A perfect world would be the other way around since Indicas are better for sea of Green.

Has anyone used another medium other than Rockwool when cloning? I personally do not like Rockwool because I prefer organics for the Buffer effect on PH.

QUESTION: What are the Easier Strains to Clone? What are the Hardest?

    Cloning and Strains

Rapid-rooters are a good medium to clone- they are made of composted bark.

For strains that are not cloneable, any autoflower strain is pointless.

I had some trouble getting strawberry cough to strike in the past.

I find that the hardier the strain, the easier to clone. So look at Afghans, NL and NL derivatives, anything derived from Thunderfuck, Skunk #1, etc.

Your technique will play a large role, prepping mothers properly... you already know about buffering effect; good. Mothers need to be deprived of N for a week or so before taking cuts, and be very healthy otherwise... I have found that Ca and K deficiencies will drive your % survival to or near 0. So will N overdose.

I believe Jack Herer would be a good choice as well as the one's already suggested by stinky.

Though, i'm curious to know how others feel about Jack Herer as a suggested clone mother...

my skunk and ww take about a week to root.

I usually leave them in the cloner for 2 weeks and they come out with massive root systems. Then its off to the rainforest for those ladies for two weeks of veg, then flower, and viola, beautiful cycle.
