i got a question, i got lots of trim and small buds drying but some of it got a little mold on it does anyone know if it would still be safe to make hash out of it

That's a great method. I was just sorting thru a bunch of pictures I have of this method. I was going to post a thread, but seems like you got stickied, so maybe I'll just add them onto your thread if that's cool.

IMO, using the large fan leaves is detrimental to the quality of your hash. If you use just the small leaves that are attached to the bud, you should get a more pure hash with less green material. When I post my pics, you will see the difference. One has greener water, and the other is more yellowish...less green. I suggest only using leaves with VISIBLE trichomes.

The way I learned it was the GUMBY HASH method. Here is a link to an awesome vid that describes it all. A little different, but basically the same. Good thread, Perp.

The answer to that is yes. I have made some since then..
I bought the kootenay bubble refinery system. And it works wonders. I recently picked up 55 more lbs of bud.
And im swimming in the shit. In total since i bought it ive probably made about 3/4 lb of bubble hash. I got a 35 gallon kit. and each time i do it i use anywheres from 5 to 7 pounds. Mind you the weed i got was found in a dumpster, along with trim, however there was a signifigant amount of bud over the trim.. I huffed that shit in my dads truck and away we went.. after it all dried out. some of which was cured, and sold a couple lbs, im doin fckin excellent. i dont have to work at the moment. we've made almost 5k from it so far. I'll add some pictures of everything when i get my camera in the next week or so. Peace all:jointsmile:

I know that with the gumby method trim gets soaked in water, but wondered whether drying the trims first affected trich removal??

In my experience, it is most efficient to use dry, cured trim.
Although some very fine hash can be made from fresh trim, it takes longer and you get less.
Also, NEVER make hash while the chlorophyll is breaking down. Either do it in the first 72 hours after harvesting, or wait until it's fully cured.

Im thinkin of startin an online order form for cheap bubble hash now..
My dad and i went there last night after we got back from hunting and both dumpsters were heaped.
Couldnt find any trim/buds this time.. too much damn soil. and fertilizer bags and old 1000W bulbs. we always hop right in and dig around and underneath everything. it sounds gross but its well worth gettin your hands dirty.
If that dumpster keeps gettin filled the way it has been then hopefully i wont have to spend anymore cash outta my pocket on weed. Unless i want some medicinal weed or afgani hash from my hippie neighbour who has a medicinal pot permit through health canada and The B.C. Pot Club, The stuff through health canada is horrible. but the pot club has some killer chron from time to time. but pricy as f*ck. Ill smoke a bowl of bubble for everyone. :jointsmile:
