Slide or Carb???

Ive always used bongs with slides just because the first one I smoked out of had a slide

Do you like a bong with a carb or do you like a bong that you have to pull the bowl to clear? Personally I enjoy the smoke from a bong without a carb and I also like the look because it does not have a big hole in it. I guess the point of this thread is see what people like better. Rating: 5

Our homemade bongs used carbs, and yeah, after you take a hit you need a buddy to suck out the smoke that's left in the bong. Pain in the ass and a waste of grass. Our new bong has a slide.

i like carbs, dont c ws wrong with em...ive only used a slide once tho lol there not verry popular around these parts.

Also i dont c the point in paying out extra for a bong with a slide when its basically the same except theres no risk of ya bowl falling of n breaking...

being new to the whole thing (smoked since february only), I've only tried one of each myself. ive got my own bong, which has a slide, and my uncle that lives here too has a bong with a carb. in my sessions smokin with him ive gotta say i REALLY don't like the carb compared to the slide. slide seems to hit a LOT better and less harsh at the same time. i can barely get a decent hit out of the carb half the time, but then again im a noob. tally up the numbers and ive gotta say i love my slide.

Having one of each type, I definitely must say that slides are much better, at least in my experience. They allow the smoke to be inhaled faster from what I've seen.

i think slides are a huuuuuge pain in the ass, id rather have a carb and be able to clear it as many times as i want
