Locals needs attention

I post in them once in a blue moon but I think their stupid. The main people who post are people with 1 or 10 posts to their names trying to get to "know" people aka hookups or to meet. Thats incredibly stupid.

all this is true, but the local forums are a great place to meet just that, local people...it also is a great place to ask about business's and other local things to you.....it may not get used a whole lot, but it sure is good to have the choice, isnt it?

Sure it is, its just that there are alot of shady people around looking to take advantage of us. But hey if you can meet someone cool then go for it. Im just saying, be careful!

just to interject here....

there was not always an english only rule in place..it was implemented after several things happened, and we did not know because we dont speak the language....i guess after enough peoples' bad actions there is a form of repercussion....in the end, it is just for the member's and site's safety...

yeah i remember when that rule went into place... and the controversy it caused, and the mods being accused of being racist among other things lol...

i also remember quite a few smartasses purposely posting and even making new threads in other languages...

Excuse, me, but I never suggested that no one is doing his job. There's some blatant stuff (email addys etc) that has been bumped recently. I don't need to be accused of tattling either thank you very much ericwt.

it would help us a lot if you could tell us what state or something...there are over 60 forums in the local area....
