the first 3 pics are blue berry

*notice that the big colas are 50% leafs. does that irritate anyone? it does me.

the last is white widow. notice how stringy the hairs are.

the hairs are really almost "clear"

3 gallon soil pots for the blue berry. 1.5-2 gallon for the white widow.
all organic

i will say that the 3 gallon pots and large hps allow the huge buds. smaller pots and fluoros, in my past have not made such professional quality.

or do you think my ladies are crap?

Jack they look fine to me. You are correct that CFL work but not like MH/veg & HPS/flower. More light is always good for large buds.

Nice job dude, make sure you flush it at the end.

Looking good! The fan leaves on that White Widow look like they'll give you some pretty decent bubble hash or hash oil when you're done.

I'll echo SmokenJoe and ask- What's your feeding schedule for the Widow? All in all... Very nice!

my roomie let me borrow his camera. so the pix are really able to get magnified. you can zoom in real close!

i started off with botanicare pro grow and bloom (they're 1/2 organic) and when they ran out i switched to advanced nutes iguana (100% organic)
the iguana smells "SOOOOOOO BAD" like a dead fish. makes my house smell like dead fish.

i also use some sweat leaf (if i knew how to prepare molassas myself i would) and some super thrive.
i used some advanced nutrients "voodoo juice" to stimulate the roots during veg-- although for all i know it's a total money scam.

i also used fox farm organic soil and 1/3 perlite, as well as some mytoz*^%&# organisims in the soil when i began.

the blue berry and ww are from a friend so i don't know if they're really what they say they are. but they grow pretty easily.

i can say this... only the top buds are worth anything, the bottom barley recieve any light. next time i'm going to do a scrog again. no point in wasting time with the little buds on the lower branches. they don't really do much service.


i'll post this weeks pix soon. the hairs are starting to turn red and friday marks 7 weeks.

i'm still not sure when to flush and let sit in the dark. (i've been bad about keeping them dark during the dark cycle.... i know i should)

you need to flush 1.5 weeks before harvest, but need to harvest when the hairs are each 1/3 red? so i have to assume 1.5 weeks ahead of time when that will be? maybe this friday i will flush, and harvest next week.
i'll send pix to confirm.

here is a mini microscope from radio shack, $10.
zooms in almost too close. shows tichomes, but not stigmas.

also, i can't really tell the color of the trichomes.
