There is this high school teacher taking some kids to Rome.

She told the kids to bring winter clothes and not to bring a swim suite because it would be way to cold to swim. The current high in Rome 75 degrees F and the low is in the 60's...

She also said not to bring shorts because no one over there wears them... Only Americans wear shots. She basically described the middle east...

maybe she just didnt want them to have any fun.
I went to france on a school trip and they told us not to wear provocative clothes. I dont think it was to ruin our fun though.

Mabye she's getting mixed up with the other Rome apparently its an outpost in the Arctic circle inhabited by one old priest trying to convert all the seals to christianity in a bid to stop them eating all the fish on Fridays.

Teachers, Police, Doctors (oy), Fireman= Just Human Beings. Don't Forget that a good proportion of the population do NOT have a high I.Q. This one just forgot the golden rule of be sure that your brain is engaged before putting mouth in gear. The majority of Rome is catholic, remember your right outside Vatican city. They are VERY strict in must places when it comes to matters of dress and propriety. Most places dont allow bare shoulders or knees for women or men...
so she has every reason so say no shorts, for simplicity sake.

why risk seeing something amazing over matters of dress code?
and really, people are so quick to judge teachers and rules set but im sure that that rule in particular has her students best intrests at heart.


show some respect, thats an amazing opputunity that very few get, and you must know very little about the area if your so bent up about the shorts thing.

maybe look it up before you rip her apart for it.

i can say that teachers influence on a kids life is wildly overrated. i could have had different teachers in about every single grade and id be just about where i am now. it is like when nelson says if you didnt do it, some other loser would have, so quit milkin it. porn stars on the other hand. well about the same. i could have jerked off to different pornos and still be where i am now. either way the moral here is the odds are a teacher isnt going to change your life, so they can take their sense of accomplishment and shove it.
that said im sure that sat score "fact" was total bullshit, and even if it wasnt id like to see where they got a comprehensive list of sat scores by profession cause i doubt itd be too accurate.

and on a final note i have to say her assessment of the weather may have been wrong but i think you are being a little harsh saying she shouldnt be a teacher, particulalry highschool. they teach what their told to teach, it isnt rocket science or even weather science.
