Different "types" of TCH = different high?
Juss got done tokin outta my month old babie saxophone, and now im wonderin if there are like different types of thc because there are different highs? I wanna know what creates the different highs, or is it just the amount af thc that ditermines what kind of high it is? do different strains have different things in them that contribute to having a certain high?

Different "types" of TCH = different high?
What you're asking for is the chemistry of the plants in relation to our own biological reaction.
Marijuana's cannabinoids work on all the same receptors, called Anandamide (sp?) receptors. They are all over the body.
For some reason, the different cannabinoids tend to effect only certain areas of the body. Thc tends to effect primarily the Head, allowing the user to interpret his expirience in more psychedelic/hallucinogenic ways.
The other cannabinoids, CBD, CBN, etc focus more on the rest of your body.
The indica and sativa differences in a strain are really more of plants structure, rather than it's chemistry. However, for some reason, sativa plants through their evolution found it more beneficial to have higher concentrations of THC, while indica plants favor the other cannabinoids, the ones which focus on the body, providing pain releif and tingles and all sort of bodily expiriences, like an opiate.
But each strain is capable of producing all the cannabinoids, although strains are bred specifically, for whatever the grower desires. This usually means the strain is more potent in it's particular concentration of either head or body high, and that to get the most out of growing a certain strain, as growers we would desire to harvest it while the "trics" (tiny little mushroom shaped resins) are in a certain stage of development. Cloudier trics are full of THC, while darker, amber trics are what thc degrades to, the other cannabinoids that focus on the body.
People are often confused as to what they truly want out of cannabis, thinking that THC is the only desirable. Not so. THC is very psychedelic in effect, and enhances your current state, whereas the other cannabinoids relax the body and in turn relax the mind (the body is one big meter for the mind, if you pay attention you can listen very closely to your emotions through how you're putting strain or presenting your body in structure).
The other great thing about cannabis is that for some reason, it expands the alveoli (sp?) tiny air sacs in the lungs. Our breath, (again, another indicator of our emotional state) is usually short and constrained when in pain, and when at peace, and happy, usually deep and thorough, relaxed. Cannabis takes over your lungs, signaling to your emotional state that you are indeed relaxed enough to take deep, full breaths, allowing more oxygen to the brain which again in turn enhances mental acuity, along with the psychedelic effects lending themself to create new neural pathways in your inner expirience.
Your body and your mind are completely tied into each other, and separate.
You can have a stomach ache from eating some bad food, or you could be feeling a certain negativity and the brain will try to store it in the stomach, or wherever. Humans have different places in the body for different types of negativity, for example, when one feels that they aren't able to express themself, they put strain on the throat and jaw.
Fascinating isn't it?
Learn to listen to your body, and you can learn to understand your own emotions better, leading to an altogether healthier expirience as a human being.
Peace and Love,
T

canniboid profiles i think. Also things like Delta-9 THC and Delta-11 THC differ, the 11 is stronger than the 9, and is the product of eating cannabis (after cooking/activating it with some sort of lipid or alcohol). The 9 is what u get when it is smoked.
