I live in Los Angeles and I have a medical marijuana perscription and I have a decent supplier, yet I am still paranoid about getting caught with weed in my car.

How much can have on me (in my car) before I can get into trouble? My supplier says I can have up to 4 oz but I think he just wants to make the sale. I usually just buy an 8th and keep coming back. I'd love to buy like a 1/4 pound but I'm chicken.

I never have weed in my car, only when I bring it home. I never get high while driving or drive after getting high, call it paranoia or brains, I'll never change my view on that part of it.
