Military's 'best in the world' body armor...
The Army is warning families of soldiers not to be taken in by Dragon Skin armor, saying that the privately-sold flexible body armor failed to perform in extensive testing. Pieces of the armor were on display as Army officials detailed the tests which the armor failed, from temperature testing to ammunition battery. The hefty, yellow, inner skin could be seen sporting jagged holes torn clean through it.
The tests were carried out a year ago, though the Army declined to detail its findings until Monday, when NBC News offered reports suggesting Dragon Skinā??s possible superiority over Army-issued Interceptor armor.
President of Pinnacle Armor Murray Neal has responded with the suggestion that the Army has lied about some of the testing. But Army officials are calling the Dragon Skinā??s performance in tests a ā??catastrophic failure,ā? and also cited the weight and inability to maintain quality in temperature shifts as downfalls.

I'm VERY interested to see where this leads. Like whats been stated.....this new armour seems to be the best available.
Have a good one!:s4:
